The church is for people and the church is the people. The church is for people to connect to God and Gods chosen vehicle to help the world connect to him. The church is the people of God, doing the things of God, speaking the word of God, in the name of God, for the glory of God while empowered by the spirit of God.
The church is a place and a space for people to connect to life, love and hope.
Jesus is quoted as saying “ I must be about my fathers business” and it was the heart of the father that he would be connected to his people, that humanity and divinity would coexist in relationship together. He came for people, he journeyed with people, he died for people, he loved people. The ministry of Jesus was for people! People Matter!
